Life in College can be exciting and challenging at the same time. It means many different things to various students; pocket money, fun and partying, new friends and trips to the library. Importantly, there is one common denominator for all college students: freedom.
Freedom can be a success tool to a disciplined students and a lethal weapon against the undisciplined students. Besides being in a new environment, you have to make your own decisions. Your academic success largely depends on the decisions you make to the very least of them. To party all night or to sleep, to chat or to study, to befriend and not to befriend, to tackle assignments now or later, to participate in college activities or to take a back seat. All these decisions will help you either make meaningful and fruitful stay in college or make a total mess of your life.
It is wise to use your new found freedom to improve your lives. Make independent decisions and always choose discipline over peer pressure and mischief. Participate in college functions and events; you never know you could meet your future employer in a college event. Use every slight opportunity to make meaningful connections and build networks that will make you become successful.
You have the power to succeed or fail, nothing and no one can deny you your success. Be your own boss, craft your own destiny. Enjoy the freedom of charting your own future!
