Here are easy ways to save this semester

Spending wisely can sometimes be hard in the life of a student I personally I had a huge problem with how I spent my money as I sometimes found myself spending so much money than I had planned .

This year, one of my resolutions is to find ways in which I can spend my money wisely. So I decided to do some research and found out that the first step in spending wisely is making a budget, having a budget ensures you always have enough money for the things you need. This also helps you write down all your needs and wants and their estimated costs so that you can plan better.

Number two is, learn to spend like a student. Most students are sponsored by their guardians or don’t have a full time job so your money is limited and if you don’t use it well it can mess you up, so before you buy that sh2000 watch remember that you are a student. It can sometimes be tempting to spend on things but learn to prioritize spending on what you need, you would not want to buy a cool t-shirt or that beautiful dress only to realize you do not have enough tissues.

The third step is saving up some money. It is not going to be easy if you are not used to it or you have never saved before. This requires discipline and commitment and in the long run when you need some fast cash for an emergency, the cash will come in handy.

Lastly, do not be an impulse buyer that is, do not buy things you never planned for. Buying something may seem like a good idea today but always remember to think about it first and refer to your budget before buying as this will dent your pocket.

Let us now try our best to follow these tips and see if our spending will be better and we will not be worried about spending all our money before we have taken care of our most pressing needs, I have already taken the first step of making a budget, what are you waiting for?
