Blaze Kenya this week carried out an engaging session with students at Zetech University with the aim of providing the learners with youth-specific content to inspire them to follow their dreams and take charge of their lives.

Blaze is a new network sponsored by Safaricom created to empower the youth and deliver events, products & services to young Kenyans across the country; the services are structured to encourage the youth to Be Your Own Boss, through mentorship and creation of workable plans for the future.

The organization engaged the students in a two-day summit where it urged the students to take control of every aspect of their lives while promoting their products and services designed to give the an amazing experience.

The summit proved advantageous to the students, with many appreciating the opportunity to learn from the energetic Blaze team.

According to Joseph Njoroge, pursuing a Business course at Zetech, the engagement is an instrumental way to inspire young people, “Blaze is very beneficial to the youth because it guides us on effective use of resources such as managing use of airtime and bundles to communicate in an increasingly tech society.” Joseph shared.

Commenting on the session, University Placement Officer Lameck Tala appreciated the Blaze team for camping at Zetech and reaching out to the youth in an exciting way, underscoring the varsity’s commitment to providing a whole some experience for students.

“It is important to keep these students engaged and provide them an opportunity to learn life skills that will complement their academic growth. Lameck concluded.
