Zetech Sports Teams Impress in Weekend Fixtures

Zetech Sparks Play Strathmore

The Zetech Sports fraternity had a reason to rejoice following a triumphant result for the teams that competed in different tournaments this past weekend.

In the basketball court, the men’s team, Zetech Titans (Division two) managed a 80-72 win against Emyba while the ladies team- Zetech Sparks- continued their winning streak beating Strathmore University 39-33 in a heated game that played out at Upper Hill School on Saturday. In the football field, the team recorded a win when the Zetech Titans FC (Division 2) thrashed Ngong Vapor an incredible 3-0 in a captivating match played at City Stadium on Saturday afternoon. In the Sunday FKF Aberdares Regional tournament, Zetech Titans FC drew 1-1 with Gathanga FC in a match played at Ruiru Girls in Kiambu County.

Lauding the teams for their improved performance, Zetech University Sports Coordinator Alfred Muli was impressed, with the result, lauding the teams for their focus and determination to win as the different leagues progress.

He noted with appreciation that the teams continue to train consistently and to actively participate in tournaments every weekend across the country,

“I am proud of our sports men and women for the dedication they continue to show and am optimistic that we will record additional wins in the coming games,” Muli said, adding, “the team will continue to maintain form and participate in additional games around Kenya.”

Truly, the Zetech Sports fraternity is a force to reckon with and we remain hopeful of many more wins.
